Pros and cons of Sad Princess app for iPhone and iPad

Sad Princess app good for

Sad Princess is a wonderful game. Its cute, its funny, it plays fluidly, and the artwork is gorgeous. Character animations are done exceptionally well, and the style (with several, several beautiful stages) is very reminiscent of Vanillawares work. The gameplay is given depth by allowing stat point allotment, raising up to six different types of pets, powering up with consumable items and upgrading and equipping several different weapons. There are a few rough edges to this gem, though. The pets need to be rebalanced; early on, they are pretty useless. The game feels too easy at times, and its largely repetitive. While I like the gameplay, every stage feels the same, but with more monsters for a longer grind. Its uncertain how character growth is relevant either because I only ever ended up taking poison damage when powering up my defense and attack equally. Still, for a mere 1.99, this game is a good buy. It just needs to be rebalanced; stronger pets, stronger enemies. Perhaps more than one skill for Clover would be nice too.
the new update is awesome. Now I dont have to wait when I wanna keep attacking sweet
This is how in-app purchases should be. Theyre not required, they dont prevent you from being able to enjoy the game or get further in the game without spending more money. The game is beautiful, the gameplay flows well but is a bit repetitive at times. Pets need some tweaking, because theyre bordering on useless. My level 15 Wolf is still doing single digital damage and can only take 5 hits tops before death. Its a very addicting game though with a cute story and presentation.
I love this game! The animation is great. The controls are great. The story is cute. Its a great app to have in your collection. The only problem I have is that when I have alot of items, say potions, you can only sell them one at a time. I wish there was a way to sell at least 10 potions at a time. Would save a lot of time. Either than that, I love this game.
Finally, I get to play as a girl without having to look down her top the whole time!
This game is amazing however, since it started to crash on my iPod Touch 4G, it should be fixed. By the way, dont follow what idiots say about "Oh, dont get this and that and its waste of time," because they just dont realize that everyone has likes and dislikes.

Some bad moments

Im having problems getting this game to load on the iPod touch 2nd gen
Dont get this. Waste of money and time- trust me on this and save your money. Nothing like battleheart or any rpg you are thinking about. Too repetitive. Just forget it.
This game wasnt what i expected, played it once n that was it!
Any app that wont let me play my own music in game will get an automatic 1 or 2 stars when I even set the sound and bgm to 0... If otherwise I would actually play the game. I played it for 3 minutes and deleted it.
Stage 1-1 で最初に出てきたスライム 2、3匹を攻撃していたら、延々と Hit して 1000Hit をあっさり超えました。
just my two cents about Sad Princess Lets put it this way: You probably shouldnt buy Sad Princess other than you want to support the idea of Vanillaware-inspired graphics and gameplay. The art is very pretty but the game bored me to death already at stage 2-3. I thought I was going to fight on some proper scrolling levels, instead its basically little more than a screen with a background where you fight countless of identical enemies with zero variety and zero depth to the combat. And believe me I loved Muramasa almost as much as I love classic beat em ups, so Im not knocking it down cause of the genre. They should probablg "just" flesh out the meat of the game a bit and then sell it for, say, €3,79 with Universal support. At this point I honestly cant recommend it, sorry.
