I didnt expect the Retina support to come out at all and here it is! Gotta test it out, but by far the games been a great time-killer and exciting all the way! Thanks a lot, my 2 bucks were totally worth it!

Cool gameplay, cool graphics but nothing else...

just my two cents about [b]Sad Princess[/b] Lets put it this way: You probably shouldnt buy Sad Princess other than you want to support the idea of Vanillaware-inspired graphics and gameplay. The art is very pretty but the game bored me to death already at stage 2-3. I thought I was going to fight on some proper scrolling levels, instead its basically little more than a screen with a background where you fight countless of identical enemies with zero variety and zero depth to the combat. And believe me I loved Muramasa almost as much as I love classic beat em ups, so Im not knocking it down cause of the genre. They should probablg "just" flesh out the meat of the game a bit and then sell it for, say, €3,79 with Universal support. At this point I honestly cant recommend it, sorry.

since now it a pay game. even though i paid last time this update made it impossible to play an delete anyproof in gamecenter that i purchased it. it deleted it from my ipad, but i did not update on ipod touch. haha on them.

I thought the artwork is fantastic. The problem I had with it was the same as what a few people said. Its the same one button mashing game play. Gets kind of boring. There is a glitch with the last boss where if the queens shoots a morphing shot at you, you get stuck with the camera focusing on your pet (I was using the dragon). Story was anti climatic

I like everything about this game

First of all I dont understand why people dont like this game and have so many problems. It took me maybe four levels to figure out that my inventory got full really fast (because before I came to my senses and sold everything I got in my inventory at the end of each level, I was using things like crazy). The game developers who made this game are really smart, the reason why the enemies hurt you so bad is because they want to make it hard so you keep trying and keep playing. It is the same thing with the money. Sure you can buy a little bit of coins for 99 cents but so many people dont want to spend there money on something virtual, so they make the game items more expensive so you have to keep playing to get enough money to buy upgrades like a bigger inventory. Another thing is the pets. Yes when you first get them they die with one hit but that makes them hungry, and when you feed them they level up. Also the more you use them in the levels the hungrier they get. Oh, and the way that I stay alive is I fill 4-6 inventory spaces (depending on the level, 4 for easier ones and 6 for the harder ones and bosses) and I always check my health bar whenever I get the chance and I never let it get any less than half. I hope this helped with some of the problems I have had this game for a little while and I am already on my third time through, I like playing it and being able to level up my pet and weapons. The only thing that could be done to make this game even more amazing would be and item (maybe like a potion) you could buy to make your weapon upgrade success rate go back to 100% or even something that would bring it up 10% that is what I think would make this game even better.

Like many others, I have to say that this is a fun little game with a cute storyline and whimsical graphics. However, some flaws in controls and the fact that the softer enemies hit disproportionately hard discourage continued gameplay. Im sure some of my younger relatives will enjoy playing it, but its doubtful Ill keep using it myself.

Just downloaded it today (9/14) and I can already say I am a fan! I am really digging this game, in this time of boredom without my PC. This makes me want to go make fan art of this game!

This is a very cute and challenging game! I like the storyline and the graphics are adorable! Totally worth the money!

Same game, different day. i-device developers are getting lazy. How many side-scrolling, dual-stick, action games do we need?

Too easy

Overall, its fun. But just 50 levels for the character. Im 50 already. I need more levels!!!!!

Just make the cut scenes a little longer but other than that...perfect! I hope we get to see a sequel. Like with the princesses of hearts, spades, and diamonds.
